Asia is by two major oceans on the East side are the Pacific Ocean and on the Southeast side is the Indian Ocean. Since there are so many islands the ocean separates them and the island from the mainland so the inlands make them create their own culture like Japan. The islands have also made their own economy like Japan for their fishing exports. China has the most important rives in East Asia. Hung He is northern Chain’s main river system. The Hung He is also called the “Yellow River” it is called that because yellow soil deposits fall into the river from the desert in western China also called loess. The Chang Jiang is Asia’s longest river it flows through breath taking gorges or canyons. Southeast Asia’s major river systems are the Irrawaddy, Salween, Chao Phraya, and Mekong.

The Chinese have been using it for a long time and like the Nile in Egypt the know the river and love it because of the resources it brings.
